I think we have it easy
compared to women long ago
why all we do is put things in
and turn the knob to make it go
no hard labor do we have to do
no sweat we have to prespire
seems it's just so simple work
that soon we can retire
dishwasher, washing machine
dryer and frying pan
all electric and convenient
as out of the house I ran
to catch that show at the theatre
while my husband washes the floor
think this life we now lead
is one I really adore

Really think we have it easy now compared to women generations ago - most of us work and have machinery to help us get our housework done; some even have maids to help them clean.

This may not have made the competition but I thought it was really sweet. Yes life is so much easier and I bet your husband was not scrubbing the floor on hands and knees as in the old day.
