Drag my self up in the morning
First to wake though my hearts not yearning
Will he wake, no he's just turning
to get his extra snores
Stump my toe and cry in whispers
Dare not wake the sleeping mister
Unless the chores have me in blisters
And until breakfast is done
I could have been a dancer easy
Could have done something to please me
Instead I'm cooking something cheesy
For an unappreciative bore
I did the ironing and the sewing
Vaccumed, dusted, mop and glowing
Did the errands to and fro-ing
While he calls to check up on me
One hand wipe, the other waxing
All while I fed and did the diapering
He walks in with yells and gripeing
Never using his heart to see
Lay the dinner on the table
Wash the dishes cause I'm still able
Bath the babes and read a fable
Boy! am I ready for sleep
But my job is not yet done
He wants the deed that brought forth his son
And desires my mind to join his in fun
Well,This is one job I can do while asleep
