Body unused,
Heart in shatters
Not so unusual,
Believe it or not.
Commit the heart,
Omit the body
Breakage occurs
- no choice.
Engage the body,
Keep safe the heart
No relationship
Can take that.
The choice of a virgin-
Simple and finite-
To keep the status:
Commit the heart,
Omit the body, and
Something breaks
Or
Forgo the status:
Commit the body
And/or the heart;
Hurt for either is near
The choice of a virgin-
Heart-wrenching,
Blood-pumping.
All the same hormones,
All the same feelings.
Virgins cry too.

This is certainly something that teens (as well as others) face daily. Especially with the stress of the media and the pressure of the T.V shows and magazines. Being a High schooler myself, I know it can be hard sometimes to choose between something as deep as that.

Thanks for your comment and for judging so quickly! I'm not a high-schooler, so I'll just tell you that these issues can and do extend way beyond the 12th grade. Good luck!
