'Thank You'

Hello Father

I thought of You today

on my way to work early this morning.

I looked up at the stars, they reminded me of You

Those twinkling little lights that seemed to shine for me

I hope I remembered to say 'Thank You'...


You went with me today...

My wisdom came from You.

The choices, quick reactions and the love I gave

I realize without You I couldn't do my job...

But did I remember to say 'Thank You'?


The sunset, so divine, while driving home

was like a fiery kiss that covered the whole sky...

Then thoughts turned once again to Your little touches

given throughtout my day, to show Your love...

but did I once stop and simply say

'Thank You'?


Father, thank You for all You do,

for the unseen things that gently touch my life.

For the little flowers that bring me delight,

for my car, my house and my kids, my life.

For all the sunsets that have beautified my life,

for the rain and the sun, yes, the moon and stars...

but most of all Lord, I want to thank You

for sending Your Son to redeem one such as I...


Thank You Father for the many things You do.

    I join you in Thanksgiving! 'Tis true...there are many times that I forget to Thank The Lord for his grace and mercy. Sometimes I think I should just praise God for being God. The Great creator is awesome. The beauty that surrounds us is so often taken for granted. You have reminded me that I must take time to simply say THANK YOU! Beautiful! Congratulations on the trophy win. This poem is worthy and Our Lord...well...as is said; "there are no words that can express His Majesty".

    So Uplifting...

    ...in its genuine display of profound thought and deepfelt emotion. I like how you realized that the Lord goes with you. He also goes before you, to fight for and is behind you bringing goodness and mercy. This is so uplifting, knowing what you have gone through. This only adds to the testimony He has been in your life.

    Father God;

    You are the Lord, and You are delighted to show that to us, time and time again, for it's for our own benefit. I thank You for how you are being in my sister's life. I know I need not worry about her, as You are always with her.

    Grant her all that You have in mind for her, and grant her the heart and mind to receive it, knowing it comes through Your heart-filter of holy love and goodness.
