Making a choice . .

Missing image

Sometimes one single voice
Will rise above the rest
To help you intuitively
To do what’s for the best

It could be your conscious  . .
Just gnawing away . .
Or even your God
Guiding you the right way

But what ever it is . .
I suggest that you listen
For you always need help
To enrich your decision

The spirits of your ancestors
Could be standing around
Instilling great power . .
Without making a sound

Be sure . . one single voice
Will rise above the rest
It will help you unconsciously
To do what’s for the best

So whenever you’re pondering
Be alert . . for that spiritual voice
And focus with care . .
So you make the right choice

    Powerful

    Albert,
Thank you for sending me this link to your poem. Sorry I have not been on recently... but I'm so glad that I read this piece. Powerfully written... you know, this made me stop and ponder life. Your words were so elegantly written and simply beautiful and reading in between the lines too........ Albert, amazing!!!
I decided to come on today. Yesterday was my 22nd birthday... was good... but nothing overly special. I do hope that you have been doing well these days. Take the best of care -smile!!
    Lots of love,
    ~Kalen

I can attest to these very words. During the celebration of Kwanzaa, (the last seven days of the year) the tradition asks that we call on our ancestors for direction, and encouragement. Then, the eldest living person present is asked to stand and tell us how they made it to that particular age. This poem is spiritual and relative to everyday life. I often cal on my grandmother or hear her voice in my head. She was a Saint. Thank you for this poem at this time. I needed to read this. It is an inspiration.

    Much Love Always ♥
