[ whats the point ]

whats the point
in living a lie?
is it to protect ones self?
or to be with the "in crowd"?
why is it so important
to be accepted by society?
when being yourself is so...
unique..
beautiful,
original.
if you think about it
there is no one else like you
why would you want to change
into a duplicate of another?
forfieting your originality
giving up your uniqueness
tarnishing your beauty
who would commit such an atrosity?
me?
you?
him?
her?
no one ever really knows...
so whats the
point..???

yes indeed we spend so much on trying to fit the mould that we forget that the true beauty of life and being human is that were all different, were all unique.. this poem has a great message!

I completely agree with you 100%. Being original is so much better than being a robot like everyone else. YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE ACCEPTED BY SOCIETY, thats such a great attitude to have. Great poem!
