A Day In World Lit

The sound of laughter
Filled with meaningless conversation
As the instructor pulls on this solid mask
What are our opinions?
The question flowing around
Leaving more questions than answers
This is high school
48% of us are here for the actual written words
30% of us are here just to breathe
What are the other percent here for?

I understand that feeling too well.
Schools are always great inspiration because of the diversity, and the interesting stuff you learn and even the boring stuff. It all makes for fun poetry.
    Good job.
