Embracing the wind horse

.

We walk this land with such defiant souls within,

without any regard of compassion for fellow man.

Whether we like it or not "We are all as one"

living together and dying together.

The colored embers are what make us so special,

and not to be an outcast in this world we live.

.

Such closed minds to the whole human race,

will destroy a possible chance for us to truly grow.

Foreign words, nothing more than our own,

but hatred overcomes the ability to recognize that.

What happened to love thy fellow man?

just where did those words originally come from?

.

They came from the good book for mankind,

but where did we lose all the translation?

How is there any kind of future without man,

when honesty and pride has been defaulted.

A Indian chief says, Walk the line my troubled son

for there is a goodness in all hearts of man.

.

You can be Red, Yellow, White, Brown or Black,

for we shall all bleed and breathe the same.

I love the words, "No man ever stood so tall,

as when he kneeled down to help a crippled child".

It has been said, ~Love does conquer all~

and starts with the simple w

                                               o

                                                     r

                                                            d

                                                                        s......

(I'm Sorry)

    Universal reality

An awesome write from the soul...the soul of universal humanity that is. Yes we are all one and what gives hope is that even one small one giving out positive vibrations of light, shifts the atmosphere in favour of love and love is power, power to change things. I think your poem may have just inspired another poem. It's gonna be a poem dad!

    Love, light & peace

Good Morning Gets. Oh this poem is so you. You do always reach out and help those who are hurting or lost no matter who they are. You always care for your fellow man in the words you write. I felt it in the love and kindness you gave me and continue to give me. What a wonderful world it would be if everyone was as compassionate as you. God Bless you for being you.
This was such a pleasure to read this morning. So positive and uplifting. You take care, Sandy

    Brilliant!

The sentiments here ring so very true. There are times when a simple apology will heal wounded hearts. This work is wise and well thought out. The feelings here are that we have such a dire need to forgive one another and yes...yes, yes! I do agree that indeed "we are all one"! This is a sure contender in my challenge. I feel every word written here! I thank you for this inspiring writ entered here in my challenge, and wish you the very best.

    Much Love ♥

Impressive writing you have penned here. Liked the message you share in these words. Think you mean breathe in second line of last verse. Like the way the words end the poem at the end, on a downwards note. Very good picture to accompany this wrote too.
