Beating Hearts

Beating Hearts

O beating hearts are everything
as we hold your hand, let us sing
our souls are now forever bound
no spoken words for love we’ve found
two queens together and a king

Together there is no more sting
tenderness to my heart you bring
loving hearts beating so profound
beating hearts for you

Strength you give with all your caring
love together we are sharing
your heart beat is my favorite sound
hearts together circle round
three together, nothing missing
beating hearts for you

you certainly know a lot of different forms. most of them, i do not get along with. i don't adhere to the typical rules of poetry. as you already know, i mostly write for my heart. i think cyberspace has become my best friend as there are no emotions he can throw back with his physical demeanor. anyway a great write you have here. i may have to try this. viyanna rosemarie

    rowr...

One never knows what love is until the spirit touches you and sets you on fire. Even then, you cannot understand or even make sense of love, only witness it in shock and awe while stoking the fire with everything you have. Once the fire has consumed you, and the understanding of your own divinity becomes clear, only then is your given heart able to sense it's true nature, that it belongs to you and the spirit, as does mine.

    Amera,

true, hearts which beat together are nice yet in my lifetime, while I have met many women who have made it beat faster, I have only met two who could make both my heart, and time stop.
One of those women is your sister, the other you do not know. Nor ever shall, as she is not on line. Women who made my heart beat faster earlier in life I protected well, those two who made it stop in time, I protect with my last drop of blood, the final drip of sweat and my last breath.

When I was young I believed fervently I was in love, it proved to be nothing but empty lust and empathy.

Thus, somewhat like you I now am an arrangement of three flowers, but mine are two roses and a tulip, for the tulip made me aware of how well I fit with the Cinnamon Rose. And that is a true trilogy of love one not often finds.

Nice write gal, easy to read between the lines.

It’s so nice of you to tell me about your past love life but you got carried away and said nothing about this poem. What’s with that?

        well dear,

this nice poem was about your current love life and it was done so well it triggered the synapses and holographical images of my current and past. Always great when a write does that no? Not taking anything away from your love life or poetry expertise, just relishing a memory or two or three? personally I prefer it when something I've done triggers such a respose from someone as when it does it 'reflects' how well I've done in doing the poem. Obviously you did VERY well!!!

I would prefer to trigger sweet memories on a few people rather than receive a hundred accolades. but then, that's just how I am.
