Sweet Rest in Rivendell

Sweet Rest in Rivendell

And would ye find, in Rivendell
'neath the mountains misty swell
The perfect peace that bid ye well
And hold thine heart to Rivendell

Kin an' kindred on thee smile
So grace us yet a little while
Suffer not, travail an' trial
Shelter here wi' us my chil'e

And may you languish many morrows
Heal the rakes of many harrows
From the fount a blessin' borrow
For Rivendell doth sooth th' sorrow

So dance away on merry feet
To piper's play an' bodhran's beat
Bid your bide to each you meet
In Rivendell... find solace sweet

Thank you. I guess you could say inspiration. It was simply written as comment to another's poem. It's really good to hear from you. Hope you are well and happy. Thanks again for you kindness and encouragement.
