Flash
Back a couple years
Make that four
God, was it really so long ago?
A different world, a different me
A different town, a different we.
We
Him and I
We did everything together
I snuck out at twelve
He drove me home at four
Him, me, and Jim- the dinosaur
Promises
All broken,
Virginal naivete
Shattered, quickly
The blissful days, and the breaking of trust
So quickly, here and gone, no time to adjust
Never
Look back
Don't think, don't ponder
Never wonder- What could have been?
It doesn't matter now, not ever again.
We
Gave up
It ended like it started-
In a flash it was gone
Yet there are no regrets for what he stole
What I lost, the part I let him mold
Just one thing is left-
Just The smallest of holes
Author notes
