Smooth and subtle
With soft curves
Gentle to the touch
Firm in its beauty
Yet withering too soon
Leaving a fragrance to linger
In our memory
Purity personified
Forever white

mary cat may i say that if you read into poems then you get a true insight you have just looked at the picture and not at the words..shameful.. esp when your running a contest
-
ohhhh i love this... the alliteration at the end of the poem adds strength and power to the last line very very clever excellent...you have created such a sexual image well done love i love it xxxxx
-
the contest name was white- not white rose- i generally dislike poetry which describes the picture -
i just think this piece could have been further explored and a much better poem could have been discovered by the author

Beautiful
Such beauty, could himan make some a flower, with fragrance and delightful to behold and delicate. You did an excellent write here, and your words touch me deeply. Thank you for sharing.

Three thumbs up. Now, to figure out how to accomplish that. Bunnies don't have thumbs, do they?

This is really great. I love white roses. I WOULD however suggest that you change the text color as it's very hard to rean with the background you've chosen
-
wonderful imagery here and the pic goes right on with the words...Excellent descriptive write....Good job!
