Flight of the Falcons

I heard you call...
when you took
to your flight
a pair of love-
struck Falcons...
as though you
wanted audience
to witness the sight
-an image of
Nature's Omniscience
So Powerful
and Radiant!
-Yet, you are
...the Halcyon-
How you danced
with each other
-riding the wind-
Flying above
Mount Olympus
-So Magnificent-
The Birds that
the Gods did send!
Swirling, spiraling
and twirling...
In ecstatic passion
You soar...
-Golden-
Fiery Reflections
of the Sun...
to the Earth
Diana's grace
You Pour!

This is a very beautiful poem by the soul of a poet brining a kind of the beauty of the world as well...It is a beautiful voice of the heart which is not only an innocent one but at the same time gifted with the sentiment of the divine feeling that is graced here in this poem in every word and every line as well..It is a great write revealing the universal strength of the life ...Indeed a brilliant write here..

As usual, you give me too much credit my dear friend. If any thing deserves credit here it is all the beauty, the grace, the strength and innocence of Nature and the Divine that flows through Her, and as times touches and inspires me to write it down in a few feeble words that is impossible to measure up to what I truly feel and see because of Her.

I am glad that you like it. It is a simple poem, but reflects my profound respect and admiration for the beauty and awesome healing power of Nature. She has literally been like a Mother to me, enveloping me within the Womb of her Love and Graceful Wonders.

i'm realy impressed by the imegery you've used here but most importantly it doesn't ever shadow the meaning and the emotion behind your piece. Well done again, this isn't the style i choose to write in but i enjoyed it none the less.
    thanks fort he read,

      Flight of the Falcons

I'm glad you liked "Flight of the Falcons". I look so forward to their show of grace and beauty. I haven't seen them for a while.
They come around more in the Spring and Summer, of course!

    Evocative.

There is superb imagery here, two beautiful creatures soaring heavenwards and inviting the approbation of the Olympian Gods themselves. This is an enjoyable read.
