Dear Stranger

Dear stranger I've recently gotten to know,
Due to the intrest that you seem to show
At this time I'd like to catch your attension
If you'll listen, I'll be very pleased to mension,
You caught me right after an endless frustration
And I have accepted your application
I hope we can scedule an interview
Curiosity begs me to talk to you
Could you show me everything I cannot see?
I'm still unsure what your motives may be
But reguardless of reason, I still can't deny
That you set me off on an emotional high
And once that high dies, I fall hard on the ground
Though, I know I've been told to stand up if I'm down
But how can I stand when I'm battered and mangled?
How can I speak with my vocal chords tangled?
I'll attempt to sew up all the holes they've been drilling
If you'll just tell me you're ready and willing
When you want me, I'm locked in my closet 'till then
I'll be teaching myself how to speak again

Dear stranger who's done nothing wrong so far,
Now I'm pretty damn sure that I know who you are
If I have to, I'll beg you to stay in my sight
Just don't disappear, and keep proving me right
You may find my eyes and my smile so adorning,
That's because I've been painting them on every morning
I used to posess I nice, natural glow
But now that it's gone, only dull blankness shows
So please don't be fooled, 'cause the light is just fake
It persists in effect of the pills that I take
If swear, if you give me a closer inspection,
You'll find that I haven't quite mastered perfection
So take your time figuring out where you're going
And I'll stay in the distance, content with not knowing
I'll be trying my best to avoid getting strangled
And scream 'till my vocal chords come untangled
It's a strange situation, that I find quite thrilling
I just hope that someday you'll be ready and willing
If you need me, you'll know where I'll be until then
I'll be teaching myself how to shine again

January 15, 2007... This guy just sort of came out of nowhere... I randomly met him when I was working and we started talking and I got his screenname... I told him he was cute and then he started flirting with me MAJOR LEAGUE... it surprised me, because I didn't know why. He wanted my nuts, yet he didn't seem to want to go out with me. He said he wanted to get to know me better first... So we continued the flirting... I asked him to turnabout. He said he'd go with me... Then TWO DAYS before the dance... he gets a girlfriend. Great timing, right?
