smoke
filled barbeque
tasting like frogs
croaking in a blue breeze
feeling the warmth of sunshine
singing to birds in bright skies
as the cat sits patiently waiting
to catch the children’s voices from
a porch swing, hung from one single cloud
buns in the oven, tomatoes green
screaming out as if to say
here... taste...
