Universal Republicrat Campaign Anthem

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote…
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
We squirm like worms and spawn like germs:
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats!

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote…
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
We behave like hogs and lie like dogs:
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats!

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote…
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
Your life’s a bitch, but we get rich
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats.

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote…
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
The world’s sure sore; let’s have a war:
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats.

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote…
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
Eminent domain from Tex to Maine:
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats.

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
No social order and open borders:
REPUBLICRATS
We’re Republicrats.

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
Tax and spend right to the end:
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats,

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
Welfare’s finer; your jobs in China:
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats.

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote
REPUBLICRATS!
Elect Republicrats!
Your not to blame, we’re all the same
REPUBLICRATS!
We’re Republicrats.
Vote Republicrat!

Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote
Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote
Vote, vote, vote, vote,
Vote, vote, vote, vote…

Then Spin!

REPUBLIC RATS!

Author notes

With so many people running for office, I thought I might as well save all the major contenders (REPUBLIcan and DemoCRAT) the trouble of writing their own campaign lyrics. So I figured I'd just write a single lyric that they all could use honestly.

Please tell me what you think

It reminds me a bit of a "tongue-in cheek" poem I wrote called "A Concerto in Morris Minor" using repetition and the sound of words to create the effect of the story or message. Well done.

Careful, you're likely to get tazzed, fined, jailed. All for exercizing your freedom of speech.Remember Gen. Betrayus? If we of Moveon.org aren't too big a target what chance is there to be heard? And they know all too well Moveon is the collective voice of the American people. The Senate and Congress majority wimp out talking out of both the mouth and other polar end too.Blackwater is being employeed to hold us muted here in the good ol' US of A. too now.Look for strange disappearences of average Americans from now on.

This is a very funny poem which described politicians well and made me laugh. This was a good political piece- I wonder what they'd do if we all stayed home rather than voted?

There sometimes seems no difference, lol, but still, I am afraid I have to admit to being a Democrat, and proudly so, due to thhe alternative for the most part, though I will and have VOTE VOTE VOTED, LOLOL... for a Republican on occasion. These days, it seems unlikely, but you never know. So much at stake. Anyhooooo, your Anthem does point out what campaigns are like and so early they are doing it!
Maybe someday there will be more to choose from then just the Republicrats. I guess politicians will be politicians, though, sigh~ But what can we do?
Gaze has a point about living in her small country, Hi, Gaze!
    Anyway, clever Anthem!

LOL I like that new name, it should become a party on its own I guess that at the end of the line, they are all the same. Maybe some choose to kill less but steal more.
Politicians, we are better off without them
Good thing I live in a small country, here the cats and rats can't steal or kill without being noticed
Good rant and made me laugh!

How true for all parties in the world. We don't have those two here, but never mind, it's applicable everywhere. :-)

Actually, I have considered joining the Republicans.

What are the Democrats going to do for anyone, other than their own higher party officials?

Just a lot of hot air, promises and more pie in the sky half-baked idealism
