Gazing upon the sandy scripts of past pleasure
Unsure of what once was, what is now, what will come
But no longer whispering the words once written here
So sure of who I am, no longer a measly girl
Trying to scower the world
For a simple glance of love
I read the pieces of heartfelt sobs and meaningless rants
Who knows what I once felt, what it once meant
It turned itself upon me and made me who I am
I have changed, it has changed, life is no longer unright
It is what I am
It is who I am...
I look upon this life I held in the grasp of my palm
365 days past, and now I finally see this life once lived
I was young, sad, without him in my life
And I see this now
With disgust.
