I was lost in a lie
My heart knew not why
Now it is easy to see
You and I are not ment to be
Used to it was you that would say
I was wrong and we wouldn't be together one day
Now the tables have turned
And I'm sure you have learned
When your feelings keep turning off and on
The person you love will soon be gone
I'm sorry you have to be hurt
But you shouldn't have treated me like dirt
I hope your feelings never turn to hate
But instead they meet their fate
Next time you find someone you think is right
I hope your love for them shines bright
It was just too hard for you and I to last
So please, move on and let us be the past
