Screaming, dreaming, of demons in the night
Clawing, enraged, ready to fight
Bedsheets thrown off in a hope to catch the breeze
Cool wind escapes my lungs to hang in the wind to freeze
Hell has frozen over; the world has become much colder
The stones and dirt have stayed the same, the trees have grown older
My brain is wracked with equations and symbols
Hail pelts my frail body like thimbles
Heavy silver raindrops accost my mind like splinters
My body cannot survive these harsh winters
Love like fire, burning in my heart
Has reduced to a cinder ever since we’ve been apart
Save me from this deadly vision
Rescue me from this premonition
