Within my heart I now understand
I am capable and worthy of love.
I have felt the heartache of embracing joy
And survived goodbye’s pain.
Oh how I long with lingering love
For the chance to give again.
The chance of being a confident friend,
The strength in troubled times.
A passionate lover an incaptured heart
A soul that is easy to find.
…To look into the eyes of love
And recognize your smile;
…To sit along the shores of life
And hold you for a while.
I still feel the fear of giving
For what have I to give?
But of who I am I am willing
To give in love and live.
So here I am with abandoning care
In the hopes of returning love;
For I know that you’re out there somewhere
And that this I am capable of.

Absolutely breathtaking are those lines you have penned..Now get off my self-discovery jorney and path that I am on...lol..kidding...am feeling this way tremendously these days but the journey is new, exciting, fearful, enticing, good job here...This one may be my favorite of yours yet!
