In the silence,
Your laugh comes to me.
A beautiful memory,It floods my mind.
I close my eyes, and I can see you there,
Smiling at me.
A thought comes to my consciousness:
Did I ever make you proud?
(One day I will know)
But what I have left of you
(Memorbila & memories)
Gives no clue.
Some days, though, I feel your embrace,
And I know.
You will always love me
(Even through death & eternity).
Looking into my future, I know, you'll be there.
Because you still live on, through my actions,
My reminiscening, and my omnipresent love for you.
Everyday I will think of you and smile.
(A tear may fall every now and then)
But until the day i take my departing breath,
Your blood will flow through my veins.
And in a way, it will be like you're still here.
