Observations Of Spring

Its Peaceful Here
Watching the birds play,
The Trees Flowing
With the fresh spring breeze.
The Late Afternoon Butterflies
Lazily floating from flower to flower.
So Quiet and Alone.

The Sway of the leaves,
dancing on the edge of the vine.
A playful swallow
Gliding gracefully
Through the air.
The sounds of evening,
slithering in.

The shades of pink and white.
The first flush of Spring
The sky with its hues of
Purples and reds.
Another Day is gone.

The chirping of the bluebirds
Calling it a day.
The sun dips beyond my sight
Night has come to stay.

The beginnings of Springtime always brings in such beauty, the colors, the feel, the peaceful moments as children venture outside from being closed up all winter.A season that I am thankful for.A very good write with such a wonderful painted picture bringing a locked up soul of winter into piece.
    Good Luck in your contest
    Blessings

I enjoyed this piece, as it totally embodies the face of spring, and makes me enjoy the season even more.

    Wonderful

imagery full of color and retrospect. Strong finish, a little blurry for me, in a good way. Got caught up in the intent, nicely done!

Lovely imagery found throughout. It helped me find my own piece of spring even though its snowing and sleeting outside. It had a great flow and was wonderfully pleasant to read.

Thanks so much for your comment on my poem.
