Guiding Wolf


Why would you try and stop what is coming.
You know it cant be stopped and you continue.
Now you are lost and stranded.
Until I hold my hand out to you. And bring
You back into the light.
I'm your guiding wolf forever and more.
When you lie and cheat I am there watching.
Never to get through the chains that bound.
Why will you not believe or listen.
Is it cause She has blinded you?
Cut you from the real world?
I'm still your guiding wolf.
Forever and more.

    I chose this poem from your list because I love wolves. I like how you used the symbolism of the wolf, and how ancient, wise and loyal they are...and that they will never disappear. Wolf consciousness...I like that!

    The title was appropriate to your poem. The first and the last lines tied in nicely in a conclusive way- "Why would you try and stop what is coming.":that one cannot stop the wolf from appearing, and "I'm still your guiding wolf. Forever and more.": and the wolf will always be present,no matter what. A moving piece!

    so sad.A love that has strayed away only you wanting that love to come back.I can relate to this one,It has happened to me.So very heartbreaking that you just can't give up because of the love you feel for them.

    This one was sad!! Your unfaithful love is touching... This reminds me of this song the lyrics are " What wasted unconditional love. On somebody who doesn't believe in the stuff." This guy (whoever he is) obviously doesn't deserve you. You can do better. Awesome job, Jane.
