Red, Color of Love

Suicide, sweet suicide
You took her as you passed
I tried to catch on to the ride
But you were going much to fast
Break my hert, you broke my heart
The words just keep on coming
The anger rise upon the edge
Nothing helps the numbing
Suicide, sweet suicide
The metal reflects the pain
And even though it's sharp enough
It won't cut through the chain
People here and people there
They come or stay or go
But everything is all the same
Because none of them will know
Suicide, sweet suicide
The blood is in the air
My heart beats only ice now
My soul fills with despair
Run away, please come with me
We can leave this world behind
We can look ahead to happiness
That of in this world I can't find
Suicide, sweet suicide
Just take me by the hand
You're the best friend I could have
Because they don't understand
Light the way, please light the way
The darkness overwhelms me
Just do one favor to us all
Who can never be free
Suicide, sweet suicide
You lead and I will follow
Take me to the place where I'll
Be stuck in my tomorow
I love you now, I love you not
I once admired you
Now I don't know what's going on
Are they lies, or is it true
Suicide, sweet suicide
I hope you didn't lie
Because I can't take it when you break
My heart and wish I'd cry
Tears will fall, and tears are dry
My heart is done with breaking
You broke it once already
So there's no point in pain you're making
Suicide, sweet suicide
Why do I ever think
That this life is worth living in
If I can't retrieve the missing link?
I know it now, I knew it then
What life I will be missing
No love or light will come my way
No hugging, laughing, kissing
Suicide, sweet suicide
Just one more temptation
And everyone has pain, I see
But none like this sensation
Tell me now or tell me then
If you won't I will not care
But it hurts when I am over here
And you are over there
Suicide, sweet suicide
I won't take your hand
But I thank you, dear, for listening
Pretending you understand
I know the air is cold here
And i knew I wanted to die
And although your offer is tempting
I decide to live my life
Suicide, sweet sucide
Your presence has been a treat
But now that I know better
Your taste is not so sweet...

Deep and dark. "The metal reflects the pain, and even though it's sharp enough it still won't cut through the chain", fabulous wording. Thank you for your entry in my contest.

you have a spelling error in line 4 I believe that you were trying to say Heart. Anyways, I thought that this poem was very good. Another great example of what I was looking for in this contest
