Love's Beautiful Lament by FindingFate
If I told you I loved you in moments
and in impressions of a beating heart,
could we laugh and linger in love's
beautiful lament?
What if I said I loved you in the quiet
between words and the hush of anxiety
when you enter a room; and what if I said
I loved you more than I have any right too?
You are the sweet of my dreams, the warmth
of my every breath, and the song of my soul.
I inhale the serenity of our serenade in
tender notes of nirvana.
I love you without assumption, thought
or fear; without the dread of destiny
and a thousand and one hopes and dreams
broken in bitter memories of past.
You are all I care to know, to learn
to live. I wish to seep into the center
of you, sow my seeds upon your lands
and root myself there in honest intention.
I love you without condition or care
of consequence. I love you with a sense
and a purpose of this life and the next;
I love you simply because it's all I know to do.

I loved reading this poem!It's clear and direct, but beautiful and sweet also. It's something anyone can relate their own emotions about love to, but it is specific enough it's so true, so vivid. Great job!
