Oh, this barrier!
It separates our hearts with such apathy,
A silent demon, it consumes.
A life with you I need,
But my desire for such an extravagance;
It remains questionable.
In my silence I await your return,
A day I shall hold with ecstatic credit.
But our fates, shall they never meet;
We will remain two simple souls in this complex paradox.

Now I know I commented on this. Must be some AP glitch. lol. Because I remember saying something about how the idea of a paradox is seemingly ignored in poetry. sigh. At any rate, many thanks for your entry. lol
