Sated' Hunger & Thirst

This aching endless consumption,
of soul.
My desperate wanton vacuous,
need.

That flamed mania of,
my desire.
In famished starvation,
I am drawn to~
your spirit's endless,
beautiful bounty.

Your sustenance
fill ,
of this empty void,
I never knew,
till fate's sudden convene.

Where within this,
cavernous universe.
Was my soul's sated' fill,
before you?

That hydrate vanquish of parched thirst,
for life?
Before my helpless fall into plunge,
of your soul's spill?

This poem is full of desire and lush expression. I enjoyed the light and sultry sweetness of it. Both your language and the textures are full of richness.

Very nice feel to the poem. It has a melodious flow in keeping with the musical quality of such intense feelings. I love the imagery conjured. It is easy to connect with the feelings described and put oneself in the possition of the person feeling them rather than simply being an observer.

Glad I happened up on it

Speaks of fulfilment found and a Soul unbound...
enfolding the reader in depths of feelings profound.

The greatest love is a union of souls and spirit unending desire for oneness outside the often anti-climax of physical union. A continuous day and night ache for fulfilment.
This poem seems to capture this meaning admirably.
