Walking down the sandy beach
The memories flood in through the waves
As I look beyond the horizon
I see your face
So clear and distinctly
You say to me
"I loved you so much, why did you leave me?
I know I broke your fragile heart,
but can't you give me one last chance?"
A tear rolls gently down my cheek
I try so hard to stay strong
And not look back
You broke my heart can't you see
It slowly mends helplessly
I can't be with you anymore
So now I close this open door
A year passes and I'm happy
I found someone who will treat me well
He loves me as I love him
But then you come back
Into my life
Just as all was going great
I think about all the times we spent together
The passion and the love that we shared
I try to close these memories out
But I can't seem to help it
I close my eyes, and listen to my heart beating
It tells me that I must move on
That I need to let you go
But its just too damn hard
And I can't seem to forget
What we used to have
And as much as I want to
I can't seem to let you go

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW letting go of love or a dream of loving someone forever is one of the hrdest things to do, sometimes the pain hurts too bad letting them go or even remembering. but it does fade to bearable! great job I look forward to reading more
