That Warm Summer Night (prewritten)

i wished for you
to say what you did
that warm summer night

so i revealed
what i had hid
that warm summer night

and like a bird into the sky,
my feelings soared,
i let them fly,
and then you looked me in the eyes
that warm summer night

that very night you clipped my wings
but it was not your fault,
i fell too hard, i fell too fast
and life came to a halt

you tore my heart,
filled me with sadness
made my thoughts race
started madness

you made my world
come crashing down
that warm summer night
