We are in this thing called life together
If you cut your flesh, I bleed
I take your hand in stormy weather
My provisions meet your needs
The violent winds of change blow
I feel lost and cannot find my way
With compassion you show me where to go
You shine light into my darkened day
When my heart is empty
You point me to the source of love
When my soul is thirsty
You quench it with rain from above

really got to me because if you are really close to someone the things they do affects you just as much, or more, as they do to themselves. Anyways this is a really great write. -
It's really wonderful. Some of the rhymes are very simplistic but it takes a heck of a lot to get those down perfectly. What you've got here is very nice and a great testament to your love for your friend. I find it amusing how you can relate it to Jesus as well. It's quite a feeling, love for even just a friend. A lovely write, thanks for sharing.
