A Heart Cannot Withstand Anymore

You've crushed it into sand,
With your big hands.
My heart will never be the same,
And you're the one to blame.
You poured this acid rain
All around and onto me,
You made it impossible to see.

You want me back you say?
Well I say no way!
I'm not your toy
To play with and destroy.
Go away as far as you can,
You stupid man.
I don't want to have to see you,
I'm not sure what I'll do.

But keep in mind,
I won't be so kind.
Do you understand what you did?
You threw my heart and it skid
Across the pavement gushing
My feelings for you and flushing
Down the sewage drain,
Feeling masses amounts of pain.

You will never understand
How much pain you made me withstand.
You want me back you say?
There is just no way I'll stay.
My heart cannot stand anymore
There is nothing waiting in store.
With tears flowing down my cheeks
And my eyes looking very bleak.
There is only one thing I can possibly do,
There is only one thing I can do to you.
So I shut this door in your face,
With absolute and total disgrace.

Please tell me what you think

I hate that feeling entirely too

Good write, probably would work just a tad better if the stanzas were evened out by line count, but it works as is. I hated to read it, but seems like it's a common thought today with me too. Take care, but not too much....life's too short.

Very well done..I love the flow and the rhymming was good. The pain is very obvious in every stanza.
    Hope things are better.
Thank you for sharing your heart.
