Who Knew

Who knew that I would be the one
To haunt all their dreams and thoughts?
That I would be the one they never forgot?
I'm the one they always loved,
But not one of them realized
That myself, I have always despised.
That the truth I've claimed, was nothing more than lies.

Who knew that I would come undone?
That I wouldn't survive my befallen fate?
That I could never delate?
I'm the one they always loved,
But not one of them could understand
That I have been unmanned.
That my life, I could not stand.

Who knew that I would be the one
To make all this anguish end?
That my life, I would upsend?
I'm the one they always loved,
But not one of them could decide
The reason I committed suicide.

Author notes

Option 2; favorite color:blue

This poem was written from my friend Cassie's point of view. I just wrote what I thought she might have felt before she committed suicide, and it's kind of like she's looking back after she's dead at what she did.
