I see you at all times
my love for you is deep,
i hate to see you hurt,
and love to see you smile,
the lengths i would go through,
to make you feel ok,
no matter how long our friendship last,
i know i will always want you,
your my best friend,
my own everything,
and as long as i am with you,
i keep my eyes open,
to make sure you dont get hurt,
but you look at me differently,
and i noticed that you keep your eyes closed,
because i can get hurt,
you dont want to see me hurt either,
thats when i knew,
you liked me very well,
but i couldn't have a relationship,
my heart was broken in two.

it does suck when you realize a relationship just cannot be, especially when the feelings are not returned. Your poem was good, but could have been better if you'd used more image referances or vivid words. you have a drive for poetry I can tell, and I hope you continue write. Live Well Poet.
