Now and Forever

I walk amidst the sun, sand, wind and sea
Imbibed full of the essence that is you
Experiencing living happily
In every single blessed thing I do

We pass the rows and rows of roses fair
Our senses saturated with their gifts
And like the blessings from your tender care
The beauty of the rose my spirit lifts

Enamored with this special place and time
Be it an hour, a day, a month, a year
Knowing someday it is no longer mine
The roses under snow, and you’re not here

Treasures of my heart, moments like this
Sustain me in my walk through the abyss

This is just beautiful and heart-warming. It's very lovely sonnets are always been a favorite of mine. Many people just don't write them nowadays. This piece just shows passion and devotion for another. Beautiful as always. Great Write.

    Did I tell you ...

that you write the most wondrous love poems when sad and joyous simultaneously? Kristin is such a lovely Muse: you will write us her gifts. It was such a privilege to read this tender poem. Thank you Allan.

    Love
    Always Myra

Thank you for your kind words, but I must confess that Sherlock was inspired to write this for Amera. If that has you confused, imagine how Sherlock feels! He is just throwing his hands in the air and going about his business as I instruct.

Ah -- but then: Amera too, is a lovely Muse!

and I am not at all amazed that Sherlock is at wit's end! Let him work out his course ... do not even give him a clue. Waiting to see what he will discover.

I am a great place to learn sonnets! After reading mine, you will love the ones by others! Especially by people who can do them right!

This is a perfectly executed sonnet and with each new poem you are showing me what a wonderful poet you are. The image is emotionally charged and touched my heart. Who said “strong macho men are dumb”? You have it all my love; brawn and internal beauty. That’s why I love you.

    Love,
    Amera
