Already communicate in silence
Blue eyes speaking volumes, seeking...
That which is already obivious
And with a look, a touch of my hand
Comes a silent vow.. in your eyes an understanding
That all you are... is safe in my heart
With urgency you pull me to you
Body draping gracefully atop yours
Threatening to steal already gasping breaths
Collapsing under my need to belong
And in your arms I find content
As loving protection, honest strength... engulf me
No longer pretending as I always have
That I need not tenderness to survive
As it is you who hears what my soul speaks
And only you have seen through this warrior...
Standing vulnerably in front of you.. to the woman
Whose heart you now hold gently in your hands
And with anticipation... lips unite...
As I savor this stolen moment with you

*wide eyes* WOW...just...WOW. I would say I'm forkin' speechless, but...not quite. I just love the feeling of anticipation you build from the first line to the last. I was cheering the couple on. And I loved that you present her as a warrior, too. So few men see through the armor, and understand that a woman HAS to be tough, but she can be tender as well. Loved this, my dear. These lines are very beautiful - as the entire piece is and juat as I know that you are - along with your new love - which I hope and pray will grow stronger everyday and remain beautiful and new for many years to come. Brovo! claps as much as I can. I'm always a sucker for a great love poem, but this one is more then great, usely love poems caintain the word love, but not once did I see it and thats great because hearing that word over and over in a poem is redundent. you have great piace of work here, everyone has there moments of weakness and the times where they where a mask, you showed it hear about how a loved one can see threw that to a the real soul. And the line " As I savor this stolen moment with you" thats brillent because each moment with someone you love wether it be a bad or good should be saved in a memorie, time shoudnt be wasited on nothing but spent well wasited. -

Yes girl I have definately found my muse. I have missed you too, and have been incredibly bush, hence the lack of ability to spend much time on poetry. But now i'm back and you should expect to see more from me as things calm down in my life.

I loved the begining stanza, I loved all that followed and I dearly loved the end. *sigh* The only joy that comes greater from such a beautiful write is the fact that you have found someone to inspire it. *huggs you* I am so dearly happy that you have found such a dearly deeply moving love much like I have experienced as of late.
