Ann, it is so good to see you, my friend
Please, sit down, let us chat for a while
I understand that you need to work things out
Maybe I could try to help you
People have said that I'm a good listener
You speak of women who lose their husbands
You say that they are getting too much attention
Your pal on the radio seems to agree with you
Tell, me, Ann, why are you so angry?
Were you not given enough love as a child?
I wonder if you resent the person you are
Do you honestly believe you're helping others?
Why do you cry for attention, my friend?
Did the other kids ignore you in school?
Did you feel that you needed to be better than them?
I don't know if I can help you, Ann
This is something you need to do for yourself
Sadly, I don't think you will ever change my friend
It is something I have come to expect from you
But can you truly live with yourself?
Please tell me what you think

I was intrigued by the title of your poem so I clicked on it, now I wish I read more of anne's commentaries and such. although I do understand that she can be quite controversial... you did a great job with this piece. thanks for sharing it!
