Ice Cold with Red Wrists

The way you left, another lover on  your arm,
Tellin me  you love me, but time to move on.
Tearing me up inside, eating me away,
Nothing more visible then the pain on my face.

Her golden hair, swaying in the wind,
Introducing us, as if we needed to meet.
The way she walked, the way your eyes stayed glued,
Infuriated my memory, of the past and the present.

Embracing her, filling her with your heat,
My heart frozen, as icecicles fell as tears.
Can't shake the coldness, the avalanche within,
All I know warming her, makes me cold all over.

Now alone I sit, on darkened floors,
Engraving an "X" on my wrist, just to mark the spot.
Every stripe I bare, leads to a letter of your name,
Forever marked for life, the owner of this dead heart.

Embracing my hearts pain, even the slices don't  give way,
To any form of release, or plessure that I need.
All I can say, is that when I see you now,
The depths of the blade, engraves your name.

By looking deep within, you'll already know,
These darkened eyes, where caused by you.
The coldness of my heart, deserted by your warmth,
Will never love another, for by you, death has stole my heart.

wow, this is a wicked combination of the two options. well done.
i love the whole thing but especially the last verse:

By looking deep within, you'll already know,
These darkened eyes, where caused by you.
The coldness of my heart, deserted by your warmth,
Will never love another, for by you, death has stole my heart.

there are a few mistakes but apart from that well done and good luck.

Hearing your lover tell you that it is time to move on is something that we all fear. These words stay embedded in your heart and mind. Leaving you lost in a world of sadness and unfamiliar territory. Well done with this piece. I really enjoyed reading it.
Best of luck to you with it in the contest!
