i follow footprints in the sand
that take me far across the land
i travel high, i travel low
i go where ever the footprints show
i do not get lost, i do not stray
and no one does get in my way
i'm compeletly safe, and do no wrong
just following footsteps all along
but i leave to find my own
it's someone elses footprints, another's home

it's a very nice twist to the biblical poem! although the poem is about following someone elses lead you truly went your own way in the contest. very good sam your starting to think like and artist even more!

Very twisted at the end, but the very last line is somewhat confusing to me. I leave to find my own, you say as if you already know that the ones you have followed are not yours. But then again, the very last section another's home sounds like you followed them all the way to another's home without realizing that they weren't yours.. it could just be me =]
great write
