Oh! There is something in the air, a song,
Which makes me want to run and sing along.
But as I do comply with that request,
I stop and turn-- is your hand on your chest?
Hey, Arthur Dimmesdale, are you sure okay?
I wouldn't want you hurt in any way.
You look so weighed down by the stress and like,
But spikes root me down to the floor. Oh, no!
Oh, no! Without you, I'm so poor!

Nice...
Cute! Sounds like something derived from a movie perhaps. Very unique and witty. Good job.

Nicely done, with some good meter and rhyme, but I don't think I get it...is there a big red "A" that you gotta sew on here, somewhere??? bravo...

hey, sorry i didn't get this earlier... stupid allpoetry... anyway, arthur dimmesdale is a character from the scarlet letter (he has heart problems, it's complicated), but that's not supposed to be the point of the poem... it's supposed to represent the moment when you go from being really happy and carefree to realizing that something is wrong... hey, I'm going to change the name a little. fun stuff! bye bye
