[ i told myself i wouldnt do this... ]

i told myself i wouldnt do this...
why did i let you make me feel the pain
the pain of losing someone i loved
loving them was all i did
they knew it too
when you said that you didnt love me anymore
there was a moment when i thought that it was a lie

i cant believe that you made me into this
a heartbroken little girl
the imprint of your name upon my heart
never to go away...
never to fade..
never to be replaced...
i wanted you
and only you

i willed myself not to fall for you
but it didnt work
i fell
hard...
your eyes
your lips
your hand in mine
it all seemed so right
at the moment

i wanted to let you go
to be away from you...
i needed the space
but my 'heart' wouldnt let me
i was addicted..
i was in need of your presence
just the very thought of you made me weak

there was so much that i wanted
...........needed.......
had to have....
your smile is in my memory....
the taste of your lips on my tounge
the feel of you skin on my fingertips....

i will remember you
as i slowly die
for the love that you never gave me...

Author notes

5. You said you never wanted to see me hurt, so tell me... do you close your eyes whenever you're with me?

or

4. Take this sharp razor.
Sign your name on my wrists.
So everyone who see me can know
Who left me like this.

i cant decide which one this poem goes under... maybe both??

    a heartbroken little girl
the imprint of your name upon my heart
    never to go away...
    never to fade..
    never to be replaced...
