is looked upon from my bed
it is what I stare at
with these thought running through my head.
The tree outside my window
knows me better than most,
this tree is the most gracious of hosts.
For I know havoc, it will never wreak
because of it's inability to speak.
The tree outside my window
I know I can trust,
for if I don't confess my sins
I feel I will bust.
so, I climb into my nice warm bed,
and begin to release the thoughts
running through my head....
to the tree outside my window
Author notes
This is a very dumb, rambling and yes..... not making very much sense poem....... but, I have this tree outside my bedroom window, and I have realized that when I am depressed about something, I find myself staring at this tree with all the thoughts that are going through my head.

Last time I talked with a tree,
A bird above done pooped on me,
I guess just cause I was there,
And not as answere to my prayer.
Said to myself, this has to stop,
Good thing I wasnt looking up. (sorry darlin couldnt help it lol)

I too have a tree, it is full of hate
it holds my secrets deep inside
for me there is no way to hide
death is my only fate.

koalabear9701...Trees are our silent partners. Sometimes, they hold the dreams of many countless hearts. This poem is just perfect in its expression and in its meaning. ***Ivy Rose -
thats so neat.. really not dumb at all, when i read this poem i actually picture a lil girl, sitting in her room on a day bed, looking out her window at this big oak tree, just being confused and thinking about life, i am sure in your case ther emay be more to it but thats what comes to mind when i read it
