"It is only better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all if the joy of love was greater than the despair of loss."-My amendment of Saint Augustine's famous quote

Fantastic!!!!!
These words they say is true, but to one who has loved and lost was the loss greater than the love shared? I see your point, I am just trying to look at the other side, of a life long relationship, and wonder how the survivor feels after such a long life together. Thanks for sharing this thought provoking quote. Best of luck in the contest.

when you think about losing the one that you love is it really better than to not have loved them at all , is it worth the pain or was it worth it to know of such one and there feelings for us or would it have been better to just have let it go and felt no dispair
