Midnight feast of the thunder storm
Alluring skies untie the hidden drops..
I talk of sorrow with the eastern winds
It's the illicit place where my silence stops..
Where wonders take over the realm
The realm of my young soul’s dignity..
And I wander astray on my minds ride
In search of the key that will set me free..
Strolling player, I pass many lands
Entertain the crowd and then walk away..
I am the intriguing woman of the other side
Chasing the night, Running from the day..

Wonderful
Very well expressed. An excellent creation of thought with great feelings.

chasing the night, running from the day...
Now that, I think, is the single most poignant line of a poem I have read...ever, I think. I say so because it reminds me of me, avoiding the light to grow a kinship with darkness...
Here it feels that you have been deep in your thoughts, haunted by feelings of being alone in the world, wanting to blend in but knowing that, because of your uniqueness (whatever that may mean for you) you stand out against your will. This piece rhymes beautifully. (All the ones I've read do.) I am glad to have read, with me having stayed gone so long. I am sorry. I haven't been too attentive.
I hope you are well.

Many blessings,
Raven Aurora

Hey, do you realise it took you two months a bit to write this...

okay okay... I let you off... because of the exams and mishap etc etc
...
but this is extremely awesome...
Where wonders take over the realm
The realm of my young soul’s dignity..
And I wander astray on my minds ride
In search of the key that will set me free..
I can sense your anguish of longing to be freed...
remember the grass is always greener on the other side...
Though this has a melancholy tone...but it's written nicely with perfect rhyming and fitting meter...
hope to see your next poem sooner than this
but exams first...
