Truth in Illusion

The mirage is whispering to me
Even it wants the presence of the One
I carry inside.
I'm not in this desert
Because it was my play to be here
Only because
It is all mirage

You are the only One
That has a handle on this thing
I tie myself to you
With ropes of breath
Woven at the oasis

Please tell me what you think

another masterpiece written with the sacred ink of your heart ... your words deeply resonate within me and invite me to embrace the mirage with the loving gaze that the One sends through me ... and the mirage is recognized as such and is no longer a "problem" ... oh, what a relief ... suffering has never really existed ... how could I have believed in it, engrossed in the roaring discourse of my mind, while all this time, the One was gently whispering words of Love into my heart's ear ? ... I am listening to You now, Dear One, Who has so patiently stood beside me, while I have turned my gaze away from Your Beauty and Truth ... and in Your Silent Presence, I Am, once again in Peace ...

Whisper to me, sweet prophetess, the mysteries of being... sing to me the song of one thousand eyes staring into the sun of heart... Of your countless blessings only the birds can fully recount... for they are you and you are them......... calling to me through these words. Hold fast that ONE to whom you give your ALL for he holds you in his heart and will not let you go... he is worthy of your praise and has not forgotten what you left at his feet. May you know his earthly presence again! Dear heart! May you count the breaths until that day! How lovely for me to hear of your spiritual communion with such a saint through your lovely words! Ah! How you bless my life and the dull days thereof melt like wax at your smiling heart!

How I miss our daily conversations! I hope you have been well of late, and appreciate you every moment of the day. Your poetry gets more spiritual with every word you pen... More please!!!!

Blessed Sister Divine! How I love thee... and seek to see your dreams!

Your name rolls of my tongue like the memory of thirst fulfilled. A great desert thirst quenched by the pure sweet waters of your words. Like a divine light beaming up over the horizon of space and time and speaking in this moment straight to my welcoming heart. Thank you dear one. You always bring me a joy unparalleled.

My blessed Soul, how long have I wandered in the outback of life waiting for water to quench these lips. 'Tis the same water You seek... that which is the only thing to satisfy our thirst... the Knowledge which you grasp with hand and heart is far more than the mere words of men, it is Truth. And that You are to me, blessed bush aflame! Speak to me the wonders of Love! Of Sacredness! Speak to me of the Breath!

You have said it, my poet! Live and Know and BE! ...Breathe in... ...Breathe out...

This is lovely Tara ... there is such a gentle dichotomy suggested between what is real and what is important to the soul here ... the physical everyday seems the mirage while spirit holds on to the greater truths of what it holds inside ... beautiful and soulful

You end your lovely poem very prettily. I feel as though I have lost touch with these ideas, though they once consumed my heart. Perhaps I will return to them, but for now I am in a limbo, my spirit wandering. Remain a beautiful specter, dear Friend.

This is beautiful Tara, truly... The artist in the writer comes out in this... Sometimes we find ourselves going to the mirage and or dream which is where, for me the poet comes into play... bringing beautiful imagery to the reader where they loose themselves into words...I love the ending, perfection, "I tie myself to you With ropes of breath Woven at the oasis", ahhhh a gorgeous thought... lost in the mirage that whispers an illusion of truth. So, is it a "mirage"? LOL ... it's the beauty of a dream shared within THIS realm... Just lovely dear poet... you write beauty from the heart! Thank you for sharing this lovely penning... all the best, Annie
