I wonder what his name is-
the one who haunts my mind
with his lies
Bitterness is his name-
anger at the world
bringing a spirit of unrest
Depression is his name-
tears and sadness daily
feeling of inadequacy
Fear is his name-
causing me to tremble
desiring isolation
Pride is his name-
making me immune to
feelings of others
Despair is his name-
no options before me
loss of all hope
Longing is his name-
discontent where I am
searching for peace
Mourning is his name-
joy is dead within me
missing what never was

there is a Christian auther, Frank Peretti, who writes about the demons and the way they torment people's minds, giving them names and personalities. i was thinking about that concept and wondering if the demons who bothered me were named what they would be called.
