Memories of euphoria
cascade into tar and shadow
splashing through dunes
of oblivion
Shot from the pistol
of forsaken alms
and amens
and doleful childrens' cries
the seeds of life spill
feeding nothing more than saplings
inebriating them on nightmares
of cosmic star birth
Ghastly cries of dishonor
shatter silent solaces
as stars explode in prismatic beams
and whimpering infernos
igniting glass pyramids
in blazing ignorance
Drenching and encasing beacons
in the shadows of all that is lost
