The ripples of the water
hold the face of heavens daughter
cast down from a place on high
wings of white turned
dark as night
Aching for a second chance
to soar among the stars and dance
to speak the tongues of heavens voice
to join with family
and rejoice
But heavens door will beckon not,
so she just waits, in disquiet thought,
remembering days before she fell
lonely earthbound
fallen angel
