Ebony skies opened and offered repentance
for humanity’s sins in exchange,  exoneration
of condemnation with false freedoms
but failure leads to Life’s exacerbation.

Agreement made anxiously
and cord severed,  few feathers clipped~
yet slave labor continued,  cries ripple waters
as Darkness smirks with smite.

    another amazing poem by you, filled with wonderful imagery and metaphors.

    i love the way you have been inspired by the picture; the connection is there, but your poem is still clearly very origional
