once held solace and meaning
freedom to strive for
a reason for being
wings that could fly
would take spirits far
under the water
from the shores to the stars
from the stars to beyond
where wings had never ventured
would be wings that were sore
would be wings that were...
open air, endless skies
were wings are free to roam
would be a dream to the bound
would be a wish to suffered
pretend to the hopeful
would be a home
the strongest of wings
know no solace or meaning
only srive for a freedom
that give a reason for being
