    Nicely done

Great work here. Very thought-provoking. Short though it may be, it's definitely got an edge to it, like at first it's confident that the pain will soon be over but then it's like, "Or will it?"
Best of luck in the contest.

    Or so we are told...

So very true, dear sister. I am told that many times a day, but the pain continues. I can not say that it will pass, but what I can say, is that eventually, if you let it, it wil become manageable. To where it no longers decide your actions or inactions for you. I know, I have my own pain as well. I love the shape you wrote it in. Like an arrow straight into the heart. Well done and good luck in the contest.
